Admittedly, setting the resolution at 1280 x 720 is quite playable but the town and combat screens (being at 800 x 600) don't fill the screen. Setting the resolution at 800 x 600 fills the screen but keeping the aspect ratio so I still get black bars on both sides. Right click on the desktop and select New > Shortcut. Then, I have found something else that *almost* works: Right-click at the screens bottom-left corner and from the pop-up menu, choose Desktop. None of these or any combination there of produces what I want (again, stretched full screen). (2) Change to Reduced color mode: 16-bit (65536) color (1) Change compatibility settings to Windows 7, Windows XP Service Pack 3 Now that my machine has been "upgraded" to Windows 8 圆4 Pro, the game will launch in the middle of the screen that is surrounded by a large black area. Goal: I'd like full screen display (stretched) of HOMM III Complete on Windows 8 圆4 Proĭetails: on Windows 7 圆4 Pro, without any configuration, the game would stretch to full screen upon launch.
